YES! YES! YES! Investiture is FINALLY over and done with. Whee... Now must concentrate on common test. Speaking of which, I think I wrote crap for English and unbelievable load of rubbish for SS. For both subjects I almost went blank. Argh. So, let's talk about investiture. Got some pictures which I may or may not post soon. Depending on my efficiency, or the lack of it. LOL. Anyway, I guess it went ok. The arrival of principal and guest speaker was cancelled cos both of them sit down before the event started. Funny seh. I was rushing down in HEELS and freaking tight skirt to find my sis (who is the guest speaker, btw) and couldn't find her at ground floor. Great. She was in the hall already. So, mostly smooth-sailing. Until my own speech. No idea why my hand was trembling when I held my speech cards. So, I stumbled over some words. Darn. Normally, I can speak ok. But suddenly just now, hand trembling. I think I've got the not-nervous-until-the-actual-thing-syndrome. So unnerving. Haha. Now the funny part. We had to change after the pledge. Then us ExCos (excluding yeekhang of course) change into counz tee and skirt and still wore stockings for the mass dance. LOL. The biggest disappointment for me and probably the ExCos and the rest of the council is the lack of guests from other schools. Saddening leh. Only 6 schools came and I don't think even the neighbouring ones came. No offence but it's quite disheartening to see so many empty seats. It's ok. We will ensure that we send out invitations to as many schools as possible next time. I want to go for RI investiture again! Woohoo. But I think I should give the sec 3s a chance so they gain as much experience as possible. Yay. Time to use this weekend to mug. Woot. Such a wonderful way to rot at home. Haha. Got to go then. Bye! irnasrina Notepaper.
My jar of goodies.
