HEYYA >>> LOL. Ok I should quit the caps right. It's driving me crazy too. So. I bet you're waiting for the results of the Zone 6 FAHN Competition 2009 which took place yesterday at St. John HQ, from 1130-1930 hours. Woohoo. Fate has decided to be funny with us. Why? Riverside, which sent in 3 teams, emerged as Champions in all 3 categories. If they had sent in AA, I'm sure they could have owned the whole competition. BUT, they will have to get through BP AA first. That's if we had sent them also la. Haha. Sorry if you don't understand. BP sent in 3 teams as well. We emerged as 2nd Runner Up aka 3rd in all 3 categories. If we had sent in AA, I'm certain they could have gone to Nationals. Haiz. Anyway... what's done is done. The weird thing was my team was the happiest among the 3 teams, despite paiseh-ing ourselves during the prize presentation cos I was sure I heard the emcee call out for NC and not NA. Aiyoh. Horrible. Never mind. To the cadet teams, IT'S OKAY. Don't cry because you didn't get champion but because the trophies are short and light and not worth crying over anyway, so don't cry in the first place. Ha, it's a tongue twister! XP Let me do some reflections albeit I'm quite satisfied because at least all 3 teams, especially my team, brought back SOMETHING from the competition. Footdrill was the best, I think we only lost about 2 marks to Riverside. After I saw the video of our footdrill, I was convinced I loved footdrill. Haha. Will post it someday. First aid short case was all right. The MO was so nice to us. She said 'good good good' and stuff like that cos we tackled whatever symptoms the casualty reported promptly. We were so lucky to get only 1 casualty. And guess what. HE was there. Wahaha. He changed his specs. LOL. Not bad. Last was home nursing and it was undescribably nonsensical. Hahaha. Shall not elaborate cos it will be a total waste of my time. I think we failed that section but whatever. FOOTDRILL ROCKS. Hehehehehehehe. During closing ceremony this time, not only did I feel like SH*TTING, I felt like peeing too. Seriously. The whole load of snacks we ate plus all the speeches mixed together gave me a pain in the tummy. Argh. When that guy wanted to start a story, I was like "Come on... you gotta be kidding me..." I almost wanted to give up and ask some officer for permission to go to toilet but hey, i persevered. Everyone there was so fortunate to be in the presence of such a resilient and strong person like me. HAHA. Waiting for the results was the worst. My stomach churned like some washing machine, praying for the best for BP teams. My stomach was already spinning in the morning before the competition commenced. Told you I've got the not-nervous-until-the-actual-thing syndrome. Heheh. Alamak, must remember to stuff the short and lightweight trophy into my bag and bring tomorrow to give to TIC. SJAB will own prize presentation on tuesday/thursday with 18 trophies to give out, including 3 for school to keep. Hehe. On the last note, congrats to Riverside and all the best for Nationals. I bet you'll do Zone 6 proud. Congrats to the other schools too. Finally, CONGRATS to BP... whee... even though we may not be champs this year, there's always next year and the years after next. What's more, we have the most original school cheer!!! Haha. JIAYOU... My apologies to Alvina for the endless agitation and annoyance. Wahaha. Hope you don't sprout a lot of pimples yeah... LOL. I promise I will stop after ROD. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Loads of thank yous to the INSTRUCTORS for all the trainings... and of course the Pizza Hut treat. It was my first time eating baked rice. Haha. At last, I am free from March Camp and competition. Can concentrate on my studies now... Yay. Tons of homework, especially EM and AM. Got to go analyse the 5 devices used to create tension and suspense in the extract from LOTR now. Sian... Bye... irnasrina Notepaper.
